My favourite season is almost here. The idea of wrapping up head to toe in layers and dark colours is making me giddy with excitement. I love winter. The shops are always filled with beautiful things to buy.
Two items I always invest in every year without fail are a sturdy pair of boots and a good quality coat. I usually splash out on these two, boots & coats are an investment after all, but this marl coat pictured is an absolute bargain price of £29.99... Hello, it's a ZARA coat?! That's so cheap. I'm not sure it's available in store yet, I haven't seen it around. But as soon as November pay day makes an appearance I'm snapping one up in a bigger size to make ample room for triple layer jumpers. They stock the same in black too, rather like my last year's topshop coat pictured on my last outfit post.
I have a pair of Chelsea boots very similar to these from Equestrian Clearance. I bought them last year from Aldo for about £90 (phew! expensive!) I adore riding boots. They toughen up well put together outfits and are amazing quality. With my Aldo boots starting to wear thin and let water in, it's time I invest in some chelsea classics... and at half the price ya can't go wrong!
I'm becoming quite the fan of collared tops and dresses. Have you noticed yet? This dress from ASOS looks very 60s school girl. I'm not sure how it will look on somebody without a boyish figure, but it's worth a try on. Thankfully ASOS have a free returns policy so if it looks hideous there's plenty more dresses to exchange it for. Imagine it with a backcombed beehive on a night out. Channeling Del Ray herself.
The phone cover, nail polish and cute satchel are all cheap enough to treat myself to whilst shopping around for everyone else this Christmas. But who am I kidding? I spend more on myself than anyone else every year.
What's on your winter wish list this year? Link me some ideas :)
