You know the feeling. You've spent the last 2 weeks basking in the sun, eating at least 3 ice creams a day, you hit the scales as soon as you're home and bam! you're a whole 6lb heavier than you were a month ago.
Story of my life this week, as we returned from our travels across the southern German border all through Bavaria. It was blissful, but the Black Forest Gateau just kept taunting me everywhere we turned.
I've since vowed to embark on a summer health kick whereby for 6 days of the week I eat no chocolate, no sweets, just salads and goodness, and for a cheeky day, I can treat myself to something nice - like a glass of wine in the summer sun.
Neil & I had some quality wine delivered from Waitrose Cellar so we packed a (kinda) healthy picnic, took ourselves off to Hove Park and indulged.
