It's almost Easter?!? I'm shocked. How fast did that fly around? It only feels like yesterday I was chatting about my New Year's Resolutions!
Neil and I have some really nice plans for the Easter break. We're heading on a mini UK family road trip, doing all the rounds on his Mum, Dad & brother in Worcester, then on to see his Grandma, Aunt & Uncle in York (one of my favourite parts of the UK).
We thought that as we would be spending time with our family over the bank holiday break, we'd have a warm-up pre-Easter celebration just the two of us, which looked a little something like this...
Warm, buttery + toasty hot cross buns, fresh strawbs, and tea made for such a nice Easter mini celebration before we spent the afternoon tidying up the garden ready for Spring planting...
...reading back that last part, it sounds dreamier than it actually was! My muscles are still sore from all the weeding. It was really nice being outside and away from screens for a little while though.
I really was dead chuffed when The White Company reached out to me to choose a few of their gorgeous kitchen accessories for the occasion. Of course in true Fifi style I opted for the most country looking, farmhousey accessories on their website!
I think my favourite of the accessories I chose is this stunning glass teapot from The White Company which comes with a handy steeping pot sat within it, so you can steep loose leaves or remove it and steep tea bags, whichever you have in. Since starting my new job at Bluebird Tea Co I have formed an addiction to Peach Cobbler tea – my whole kitchen smells like peaches when I brew it!
Can we just also take a moment to appreciate how special The White Company package their deliveries? I was in awe. I waited a whole 24 hours before I could actually open this so that we could take some nice pics of the unboxing... ohh #abloggerslife.
I keep thinking how beautiful this would be as a gift... and a steal at only £25 I think!
What plans do you have for Easter weekend? Hope you enjoy it!
