I'm fast becoming a self confessed bake-aholic brought on more since getting me this bargainous vintage-esque apron from Amazon. I mean, £3?! I jump at any excuse to wear it.
Don't judge, I'm actually chilling in bed wearing it while I blog.
It also helps having a super nice kitchen; *sorry for the house brag* our kitchen is the most ideal place to get all creative with icing. It's fairly small, but really nicely lit, has an island sink and just enough wooden worktop space for every "domestic goddess's" baking needs!
I baked these bad boys (my second ever attempt at cupcakes) for the lads at work. I think they got the seal of approval, although I'm not too sure what they thought of the Dr. Oetker edible cases. When I told them they could eat the case too they thought I was kidding around trying to make them eat plastic for the lols.
They look pretty cool though right?
Lucky me, Dr. Oetker gifted me all the ingredients for this post although I was under no obligation to write about them. Who could resist not using all these pretty cakeorations for a post though? Not me! I also followed this recipe (although completely screwed up the icing - best get practicing!)
