I don't know about you but it's all too easy to buy every gift you need for loved ones at Christmas in one clean swoop on Amazon. Or just waltz around the high street last minute picking up anything that deems remotely presenty.
This approach makes me worry a little for the small independent stores that usually bend over backwards in terms of presentation and offering. They're usually the places that aren't quite ready to invest a tonne of money into advertising, and need all the help they can get to get during the most pivotal time in the year in retail. And their products are beautiful. Perfect for gifting as they really go the extra mile for their customers.
I thought I'd pull together a list of places you might not have thought about this year, to give them a leg up, and you a place to buy that perfect gift for someone special. Check these places out, loving their stuff:
2. JING tea
4. Dawson Denim
8. Rose & Grey
9. Posh Totty
10. BeerBods (one for the men in your life)
And of course below are a handful of my favourite much bigger stores if you're really struggling. You're bound to find something for everyone at one of these sites:
3. Oliver Bonas
4. Home Sense
(the only place I go these days for Christmas decs and the odd unique home gift)
5. Cath Kidston (best place for nans)
I hope this inspires you!
