Interior friends, don't miss the Spring Fair Gift & Home Trade Event
The New Year is here and along with my home decoration resolutions, I'm vowing to be more active within the interior community this year. That means attending all the inspiring shows happening across the UK.
I want to introduce Spring Fair, an event taking place at the NEC in Birmingham from the 5-9th February.
I'll be heading along earlier in the week armed with my camera, notebook and pen scribbling down notes in the masterclasses and drinking in design inspiration from all the exhibitors this year.
The event runs across 5 days, with 15 halls packed with the best in furniture, homeware, ironmongery, garden, gifts and stationery. Business from all corners of the world will be there from Denmark to Derby. Very exciting.
I particularly can't wait to nose around exhibitor Abigail Ahern's Spring/Summer 2017 lighting and faux plants collection. Her work stuns me.
Being immersed in a room full of such a variety of designers is a recipe for magic to happen when it comes to getting ideas for your own homes, or what to sell if you run a homeware business. So I'm making sure I don't miss this one.
Other exhibitors who I really want to see/meet:
Banter Cards – they look like a funky brand
Bentley & Bo Interiors – I love their stag heads and antique books
Bree Merryn – who sells the cutest animal art prints & greeting cards. I own some duck ones that are just too pretty to post (sorry family)
Coach House – they stock timeless traditional furniture. I particularly love their library bookshelf & ladder piece
Flair Rugs – because searching through piles of beautiful patterned rugs is my fave past time
You should come to the show too and make it a round trip to visit Birmingham (if you aren't local).
Visit springfair.com to register for your free ticket.
And don't forget to tweet me if you come! It will be lovely to meet :)
