Here are the best home renovation YouTube channels just for you…

1. The Carpenters Daughter

82.4k subscribers

Vikkie is arguably one of the big names in home DIY channels on YouTube. She’s a bad*ss queen of getting stuck in and showing us all how it’s done. Her channel is a mix of DIY how-tos and honest product reviews, from kitchens to woodwork and gardens.

She’s also worked with Alan Titchmarsh and the BBC if you need anything else to convince you she’s well worth a watch.

2. Hermione Chantal

496k subscribers

If you’re a flat owner (or renter), then Hermione might just be the host of your new go-to YouTube channel. You’ll find plenty of vlogs about her own London flat as well as room makeovers and cleaning tips/advice.

You might really like her channel if you’re all about how to do things on a budget, too. She’s got you covered for all the pretty, aesthetic things, too.

3. The Restoration Couple

186k subscribers

This Bath-based family are a go-to for when you’ve got a weekend DIY project in the works but need a bit of help learning how to do it. Their channel is packed with achievable how-to videos for DIY projects and best of all, they break it down into genuinely helpful steps.

What we love about this channel is that the projects range from building a pizza oven to restoring a roof on your own, so there’s definitely something for everyone. They also offer great advice for those with kids around the house, too.

4. Rag ‘n’ Bone Brown

100k subscribers

Based in Norfolk, Keith dishes out all of the good woodwork how-to’s, advice and step-by-steps. He walks you through how he makes some of his seriously beautiful furniture, showcases odd jobs around his home and also gives really handy tool reviews (we all love a power tool but who knows where to start).

This is a channel for the really hands-on woodworking and DIY enthusiasts.

5. Jess Rose

36k subscribers

Jess is the one to go to for gorgeously aesthetic home renovation content. You can follow her doing up her own home bit by bit, from the big changes (like building a whole garden office and landscaping) to plenty of design inspiration, along with her partner and pooch.

She also throws in some nifty DIY videos for creating looks and achieving projects with your own skills. We love how real her videos are so you can really follow her home renovation journey.

6. How To Renovate A Chateau (Without Killing Your Partner)

285k subscribers

Although technically based in France, this UK couple fuel our chateau-owning dreams with the content they produce. They use the stunning 18th-century French chateau that Anna bought back in 2005 as the canvas to add a touch of heritage and style to your typical home reno.

This channel is really useful if you own a period property because a lot of the same tips apply, such as dealing with rotten wood and keeping the decor in-keeping.

7. Georgina Bisby

10.9k subscribers

Georgina has a popular channel which has a bit of a focus on tech, product reviews and easy hacks. But, we really love her channel because she’s also doing her own semi detached house extension, including a side return and rear extension, in the South East.

The extension section of her channel covers things you wouldn’t even have thought of and she gets stuck in on the super practical things.

8. Laura Does Life

5.35k subscribers

As a single-mum, Laura seriously smashes the DIY and makes female homeowners proud! She’s vlogged her renovation with honesty and covers room makeovers (especially ones on a budget) as well as renovation basics like plastering and garden do-overs.

Her Victorian house renovation is super relatable and we love the strong female tone on her posts.

9. Leah Miller

10.4k subscribers

Leah is a young female powerhouse who renovates properties for investment. She really gets stuck in and gives some handy insight into the nitty-gritty of finances, how to do a visual makeover and genuinely helpful tips for renovations.

We love her collection of videos with trusted experts in investments and finance so you get a healthy dose of expertise, too.

10. Ultimate Handyman

487k subscribers

This YouTube channel is pretty much summed up in the name. You’ll find a whole world of DIY quick tips, power tool rundowns (even the obscure ones which you never understood the purpose of) and some cool how-to-make videos.

Basically, this channel is a wonderland for power tool fans and those who like to do odd jobs on the weekends.
