Home renovation YouTube channels have long provided a wealth of support for home renovators in the UK. For some, it’s the familiar feeling of following someone also going through the highs and lows of a renovation. For others, it’s the kind of handy advice on how to do small (and large) DIY tasks which you can learn in a visual way so you nail it first time.

Vikkie is arguably one of the big names in home DIY channels on YouTube. She’s a bad*ss queen of getting stuck in and showing us all how it’s done. Her channel is a mix of DIY how-tos and honest product reviews, from kitchens to woodwork and gardens.
She’s also worked with Alan Titchmarsh and the BBC if you need anything else to convince you she’s well worth a watch.
2. Hermione Chantal

If you’re a flat owner (or renter), then Hermione might just be the host of your new go-to YouTube channel. You’ll find plenty of vlogs about her own London flat as well as room makeovers and cleaning tips/advice.
You might really like her channel if you’re all about how to do things on a budget, too. She’s got you covered for all the pretty, aesthetic things, too.
3. The Restoration Couple

This Bath-based family are a go-to for when you’ve got a weekend DIY project in the works but need a bit of help learning how to do it. Their channel is packed with achievable how-to videos for DIY projects and best of all, they break it down into genuinely helpful steps.
What we love about this channel is that the projects range from building a pizza oven to restoring a roof on your own, so there’s definitely something for everyone. They also offer great advice for those with kids around the house, too.

6. How To Renovate A Chateau (Without Killing Your Partner)

Although technically based in France, this UK couple fuel our chateau-owning dreams with the content they produce. They use the stunning 18th-century French chateau that Anna bought back in 2005 as the canvas to add a touch of heritage and style to your typical home reno.
This channel is really useful if you own a period property because a lot of the same tips apply, such as dealing with rotten wood and keeping the decor in-keeping.
