My week in photos [001]

Happy Friday :)

I feel like our house renovation, although making great progress [see the living room so far] has pulled me away from what I love most – country walks and blogging.

So I've decided to share my week in iPhone photos every Friday to make me share more on here. I do wonder how long I'll be able to keep up with it all but it's worth a go!

Week: 19th Nov 2016 - 25th Nov 2016

Last week was probably one of the first weekends since we moved to No. 42 where we found a day we could go and explore the woods and fields out the back of our house – and not do DIY! Hooray.

It was a peaceful luxury that entailed a small photoshoot (the first in about 4 months for us) and me collecting branches for vases to bring some nature into the house. I will have to share the photos soon. I'm really happy with how they turned out.

Got some weird looks with my wicker basket and scissors in tow as I was posing for photos and chopping down trees, but hey ho!

The autumnal colours reminded me of our trip to Friston Forest last year, and our gif making tradition. Didn't get chance to make a gif this year because we've been so busy with decorating, boo :(

It's not often Neil gets a photo on here (he's always the one behind the camera, bless him) but this week, here he is captured enjoying his very first Nandos!

Yes, you heard that right. He has never tried Nandos before in his life until this week.

Unreal!

It was so delicious. We headed down to the Brighton Marina in the pouring rain and after a big feed, an even bigger glass of white, and a couple of G&Ts we went to watch the new film Arrival with Amy Adams.

In the car home, we do what we usually do and agree on a fair rating for the film. Sorry Arrival, you only get 6/10 from us! I dunno it just wasn't our thing. We love alien movies and UFOs but this film fell a bit flat for us.

Work has been pretty fun this week, it always is when there's a birthday in the office! Here we are cheersing cupcakes to Oli's 26th at The Happy Startup School :)

My other job working remotely from home for Do What You Love has been the most inspiring week to date. A few weeks ago I styled a shoot for the founder Beth alongside Neil photographing. We made such a great team :)

When I was styling on shoot with him I had this moment of awe, like this was always my dream job and now I was living it. I've always wanted to do more styling work but having a full time job has always come before it.

This experience made me really consider how I can do more of the work I love, with the people I love. It's a really important thing for me in my career.

I wish I could share some photos from the day but they're under wraps for now! You'll have to follow Beth's instagram to see how everything unfolds.

Exciting stuff!

During my evenings and including tonight has been catching up with blogging, ordering bits online for the house, and starting the Christmas shopping!

I can't believe December is so close.

Have a super week you guys. I wonder what next week has in store... :)
